If your Echo Trimmer engine runs but dies or doesn't accelerate properly, several factors could be the cause. A dirty air filter, fuel filter, or spark plug can lead to these issues. Try cleaning or replacing these components. A plugged fuel vent or spark arrestor screen may also be the culprit, so clean or replace them as needed. Additionally, ensure the carburetor is properly adjusted. Lastly, a dirty or plugged cooling system can cause these symptoms, so ensure that it is clean.
