Fuel Handling and Safety

Fuel Type and Mixture Ratio

Use regular grade petrol, minimum 89 octane unleaded. Recommended 50:1 mixture ratio for 2-stroke oil.

Refueling Procedures

Refuel outdoors, loosen cap slowly, wipe spills, and move away before starting.

GENERAL OPERATION

Safe Operating Practices

Do not run indoors, with worn attachments, or hit foreign objects. Stop immediately if obstruction is struck.

Do not allow anyone to enter the operating DANGER ZONE with you.

Danger Zone and Bystander Safety

Keep bystanders outside 15m radius. Ensure they wear eye protection.

Sudden Vibration Warning

Shut down immediately if unit shakes. Diagnose and correct problem before use.

Emergency Harness Release

Use quick-release pin on harness to free yourself from unit in an emergency.

Tighten cap firmly after refueling, check for leaks. Repair leaks before operating due to fire danger.

OPERATION

Starting a Cold Engine

Follow procedure: ignition switch, purge bulb, choke, throttle trigger. Check for attachment rotation.

Starting a Warm Engine

Place ignition switch in START, move choke to OPEN, pull starter handle. If tank is empty, use purge bulb after refilling.
