CHECKING THE BLADE
(U-handle Version)
• Use only the blade designated for this model by the
manufacturer.
• When a crack is noticed on the blade, do not use it but
replace with a new one.
• Ensure that the blade is correctly fitted in accordance with
the instructions.

• Nur die vom Hersteller für das Modell spezifizierte Klinge
verwenden.
• Eine Klinge, an der ein Riß bemerkt wird, ist sofort aus
dem Verkehr zu ziehen und durch eine neue Klinge zu
ersetzen.
• Sicherstellen, daß das Messer den Anweisungen
entsprechend richtig befestigt ist.

• When the cutting blade becomes dull due to wear reverse
it for further use.
• When chip or bend occurs on the blade, vibration will
increase.
Replace with a new one.
• When filing the blade file 3 cutting edges evenly using a
flat file as shown in the illustration.
Otherwise, the balance will be lost and vibration will
increase.
• Sind die Schneidkanten des 3-Zahnmessers stumpf,
dann drehen Sie das Messer um und benützen die
scharfe Gegenseite.
• Ist das Schneidmesser aus irgend einem Grund verformt
bzw durch einen Riss defekt, dann muss es dringend
ausgewechselt werden.
• Schärfen Sie das 3-Zahnmesser mit einer Flachfeile an
jeder Schneide gleichmässig.
Ungleichmässiges Schärfen verursacht erhoete
Vibrationen und führt zu erhoehtem Verschleiss.
• Quando la lama perde affilatura a causa dell’usura,
girarla per poterla usare ancora.
• Quando la lama viene danneggiata o piegata, il livello
di vibrazioni è destinato ad aument are.
Sostituirla con una nuova.
• Quando affilate la lama, affilare tre denti con l’apposita
lima piatta come mostrato nell’illustrazione.
Altrimenti, si perderà in bilanciamento e ne deriverà un
maggior numero di vibrazioni.
