Ensure the HVAC equipment is powered off before starting the installation process.
Remove wiring harness cover and attach it to a flat surface using provided hardware.
Gently pry the thermostat away from its backplate to access the wiring terminals.
Bend diode wires 90 degrees and insert them into the W O/B and Y terminals.
Carefully clip the diode legs to facilitate insertion into the W and Y terminals.
Connect C, RC/RH, and G wires from thermostat to wiring harness STAT side.
Connect the diode output to the Y terminal on the wiring harness STAT side.
Connect harness EQUIP side wires to matching terminals on your air handler.
Re-secure thermostat to backplate and re-attach wiring harness cover.
Turn on the HVAC equipment; the thermostat should power on automatically.
Verify wiring by testing different temperature settings and HVAC modes.
