Note for pumped models: If the installation includes a Sand Filtering (SF) located at more than 30 m (100') from the
Ecoflo
®
Biofilter, higher dosing volumes need to be attained. Follow the instructions below to make the necessary
adjustments to increase the dosing volume:
1. Remove the floats tree from the pumping vault 2. Lower the rubber stopper 7 mm (1/4")
3. Replace back the floats tree into the Ecoflo Biofilter pumping vault.
• Put the deflection panel and the cover back in place. Use the quarter turns to secure the cover: first, insert the
two palettes and tip the cover while making sure that the palettes properly insert into the slot provided to this
effect. Next, lock the fasteners toward the exterior.
7.5 Connection of the water inlet pipe
• If the Ecoflo
®
Coco Filter is installed in a one-piece configuration
(PACK), this step must be completed before the initial backfill of the
shell.
• Connect the pipe arriving from the septic tank to the water inlet of the
Ecoflo
®
Coco Filter while making sure to maintain a constant
downslope along the entire length of the pipe to the inlet of the Ecoflo
®
Coco Filter. Note that the soil under the pipe must be adequately
compacted. The Ecoflo
®
Coco Filter is equipped with a standard
flexible inlet adaptor. A standard pipe clamp is used to make the
connection. Remove the protective cap before making the connection.
Set aside the documents rolled up under the cap as they are to be provided to the owner.
