• The heater must not be in operation directly in front of or below a wall socket.
• Do not use the heater in the immediate vicinity of a bathtub, shower, or swimming pool.
• Do not place the device on an unstable cart, stand, or table. Do not place the device on a vibrating
surface. The device could fall and be seriously damaged.
• Do not place any objects on the power cord, this can damage it.
• Lay the mains cable in such a way that it does not become a tripping hazard.
• When unplugging the power cord, always grasp the plug, not the cord. This could cause damage.
• During a thunderstorm and when not in use for a long time, disconnect the device from the mains
by pulling the mains plug out of the mains socket.
• Make sure that no water gets into the device.
• Slots and openings are for ventilation. This guarantees the reliable operation of the device and
protects against overheating. Under no circumstances may these openings be blocked or covered.
• Do not cover the openings by laying the device on a bed, sofa, or similar surface.
• Never push objects of any kind through cabinet slots. As doing so you may touch dangerous
voltage points or short-cut parts that could result in an electric shock or malfunction.
• Never spill any liquids on the device.

Some parts of the device can become very hot and cause burns. Particular caution is required when
children and/or vulnerable persons are present or have access to the device.
The safety distance to walls, objects and people should be at least 1 m in front. On the back, it must be
ensured that the device can freely suck in the ambient air.
Do not operate the device near ammable materials such as curtains.
Before operating the appliance, remove all ammable solid, liquid or gaseous materials from the heating

Use of mains power
• The device is to be operated only with the type of electricity specied on the device.
• The mains voltage must correspond to the specications on the device.
• The only way to completely disconnect the device from the power supply is to pull out the mains
plug.
• Make sure that the mains plug is always easily accessible and reachable.
• The mains cable must not be kinked or routed along sharp edges - risk of damage.
• Keep the device and also the cable and the mains plug away from other heat sources such as
radiators, stoves or other heat-generating sources.
• When using an extension cable or a cable drum, these must be completely unwound. Only
extension cords and cable reels that are appropriately marked and suitable for the load of the
device may be used.
