Operating Instructions
• Overload / Overheating Protection Solar Controller:
The solar controller is equipped with a double electronic protection
against overload and with an automatic protection against adverse
installation conditions (e. g. insufficient ventilation, excessive ambient
temperatures) by gradual reduction of the charging capacity.
• Voltage Measurement:
The voltage rates at the solar controller might by falsified by losses at
the charging cables.
• Use with deactivated LiFePO4 MAIN I Battery:
• In case the battery is disconnected from the MPPT solar charge
controller by the BMS, the set voltage is provided at the outputs
according to the loading characteristic as long as there is sufficient
solar energy.
• Whether a battery that has been disconnected by the BMS can
automatically be reactivated and be charged by the MPPT solar
charge controller depends on the type of battery and the BMS.
• The float charging of Battery II (Starter lead battery) continues if
there is sufficient solar energy.
