What does H3 error mean on EdgeStar Air Conditioner?

If your EdgeStar air conditioner displays the error code 'H3', it could mean that the ambient temperatures are outside of the acceptable operating range, or the evaporator or condenser are blocked with debris. Check if the unit is operating in a high temperature, high humidity environment. If the ambient temperature is too high, power off the unit and then power it back on for operation after the ambient temperature drops below 90°F.
