Ensure you are using the correct credentials to connect to the encrypted access point. 3. The access point may be configured to only allow connections from network cards with specific MAC addresses. To resolve this, go to the ‘About’ tab, note the ‘Phy_Address’ value, and provide this to the access point owner so they can add your network card's MAC address to their access point's list.
