7. If this occurs, reduce the solvent o
w rate with the manually adjustable valve on
the owmeter unl the motor current is less than maximum allowable motor
current and/or the noise level of the pump has reduced.
8. Repeat the ming test to determine the permissible solvent ush ow rate,
without exceeding the allowable motor current for a specic duraon (refer the
datasheet of the motor protecon switch).
9. Once the ow rate is set, it does not need to be adjusted again and the solenoid
valve can be used to start and stop the quanty of solvent required.
10. During the solvent ush procedure, we recommend you to monitor the state of the
solvent leaving the exhaust of the pump. Make sure that most of the solvent
leaving the exhaust is in the liquid phase.
