The ush kit has been designed for safe and ecient operaon when used properly and
in accordance with these operang instrucons. It is the responsibility of the user to
carefully read and strictly observe all safety precauons described throughout the
operang instrucons.
Deposits may form within the pump chamber of the vacuum pumps during the process.
The ush kit removes these deposits with water or a suitable solvent and ush them out
of the vacuum pump. The ush kit allows the required amount of solvent in the inlet of
the vacuum pump to remove deposions inside the pump.
The ush kit consists of:
Solenoid valve or solenoid valve ATEX or manual valve
Visual owmeter with manually adjustable valve
Non-return valve.
The ush kit is designed for regulaon, automac/manual shut-o and visibility of the
solvent ow in the inlet of the vacuum pump. The solvent ows through a solenoid or
manual valve, a visual owmeter with a manually adjustable valve and a non-return
valve. For the best solvent ush results, we recommend you to install an inlet purge kit
with the ush kit. Refer to Accessories on page 19 for more informaon.
The ush kit is available in three variants:
A. Flush kit / Solenoid valve ATEX
B. Flush kit / Solenoid valve
C. Flush kit / Manual valve
The selecon of the mos
t suitable solvent uid depends on your process medium. Make
sure that the solvent you select is compable with the materials of construcon of the
vacuum pump to prevent damage. The materials of construcon for the dierent parts
of the pump can be found in the respecve instrucon manuals. If in doubt, contact our
customer care centre for advice.
Our recommended solvents are:
Xylene
Water
