SAFETY RULES
• Only use the hedge trimmer in well-ventilated places, do not
operate the hedge trimmer in explosive or flammable atmo-
spheres or in closed environments (Fig. 12). Beware of carbon
monoxide poisoning.
• Do not operate hedge trimmer from a ladder or in a tree. Always
cut from a firm-footed and safe position.
• Do not cut near electric cables.
• Keep the handles dry, clean, and free of oil or fuel mixture.
• When the hedge trimmer is running, grip the front handle firmly
with your left hand and the rear handle with your right hand
(Fig. 10).
• Never cut with the hedge trimmer above shoulder height (Fig.
13).
