EFI ES-6000 Spectrophotometer
The EFI ES-6000 spectrophotometer is an XRGA-compliant instrument that can measure the reflected spectra of
printed color on pages automatically. It can connect to your computer through a local area network connection or a
USB connection.
You can use the EFI ES-6000 with Fiery Color Profiler Suite to create color profiles for color printers, as well as read
color samples to evaluate color output. For information on purchasing Fiery Color Profiler Suite, contact a sales
representative.
Note: The term "ES-6000" is used in this document to refer to the EFI ES-6000 spectrophotometer.
This document includes installation and usage information for the ES-6000, as well as general information about
maintaining the instrument.
The ES-6000 communicates with Microsoft Windows-based or Apple Mac OS computers. For information about
using the ES-6000 with Fiery Color Profiler Suite or other applications, see the documentation that accompanies
those applications.
EFI ES-6000 and X-Rite i1iSis 2
The ES-6000 is a high-precision instrument manufactured by X-Rite. Its technical specifications are the same as the
X-Rite i1iSis 2 instrument, except that the ES-6000 offers network connectivity in addition to USB connectivity.
