Post-Flight Analysis
The Quasar saves your last 15 flights, both summary and detailed time/altitude data. Clicking on the
‘Flights’ link in the Quasar’s Status page takes you to an index page that allows you to select the
flight that you want to review. Note that each flight has an index number from 1-15, this is the
memory location that it’s in, and each flight has a Flight number that is sequential from 1 to however
many flights you’ve had with your Quasar. If you fly it enough, you’ll probably get to the point at
which flights drop off, and the flight numbers won’t start with 1 anymore, but the indexes will
always be from 1 to 15.
Each entry in the Flight Select page shows the Flight Index, the Flight Number, the Apogee, and a
‘More’ link that takes you to the Flight Summary page. Note that after you land and while it’s
beeping out the altitude, it will take you directly to the Flight Summary page for that flight only.
The Flight Select Page
You can view the last 15 flights by selecting them from the Flight Select page, you get there by
clicking on the “Flights” link from the Status Page. It shows you the Flight Index (the location in
memory, 1-15, “Idx”), the Flight Number (which increments every time you start a flight, “Flt”), the
Apogee of the flight (“No Flight” means that there was no flight in that memory location), and a link
to display the Flight Summary/Detail for that flight (“More”).
