ATTACHING/REMOVING THE
SIDE-DISCHARGE CHUTE (NOT
INCLUDED) (FIG. 6)
1. Switch off the mower.
2. Remove the battery pack.
3. Position the mower on a lever
surface.
4. Lift the rear-discharge door.
5. Remove the mulching insert (factory-installed) or the grass bag.
6. Align the lower edge of the side-discharge chute with the hole of the doorsill and
insert it into the hole.
7. Hook the top of the side-discharge chute on the pivot rod. Check to see that it is
securely seated in the place.
8. Release the rear-discharge door and make sure that it rests firmly against the
side-discharge chute.
9. To remove the side-discharge chute, lift the rear-discharge door, lift the side-
discharge chute up and pull it out.
10. Release the rear-discharge door.
WARNING:
The mulching insert must be removed before attaching the side-
discharge chute.
