CUTTING-HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

WARNING:
Keep your feet away
from the deck when adjusting the cutting
height.
The mower can be set to 8 cutting heights
between 1 in (25 mm) and 4 in (105 mm).
A marking indicates the selected cutting
height.
This mower allows you to adjust the
cutting height of the front and the rear of
the mower individually. For most users it
is recommended to keep both front and
rear cutting heights at identical settings.
More experienced users may prefer greater
control over the deck height for specific
cuts. For example, lowering the front of the
mower slightly will cause greater suction
which can be useful in improved bagging, side discharge, and leaf disposal.
Choose the proper cutting height according to the type and condition of the grass to be
cut.
1. Switch off the mower and wait for the cutting blade to come to a complete stop.
2 Remove the battery pack.
3. Pull the front or rear cutting height adjustment lever out of the detent and set it to
the desired position.
NOTE: To avoid overloading the motor, avoid setting the cutting height too low in tall
grass. If the motor speed begins to slow, raise the cutting height.
