To replace the blade set
Fig. 16c shows the high-lift bagging blade set (not included).
NOTICE: To re-install or replace the blade set, be sure to replace the parts in the exact
order in which they were removed.
7. Position the blade set onto the inner flange of the fan with the lower blade surface
marked “THIS SIDE FACING GRASS” facing toward the outside.
8. Align the washer with the motor shaft and assemble it in place.
9. Mount the shaft bolt into the shaft and finger-tighten the bolt CLOCKWISE.
10. Insert the metal rod (stabilizer 1) as
aid as shown in Fig. 16c.
11. Use the 9/16" (14 mm) torque
wrench to tighten the shaft bolt
CLOCKWISE. The recommended
torque for the blade set bolt is
36-43 ft-lb (50-60 Nm).
NOTICE: If the shaft bolt rotates with
the motor shaft when tightening the bolt,
place another small metal rod to act as
stabilizer 2.
