If your EGO Trimmer fails to start, there are several potential causes. First, make sure the battery pack is correctly attached to the trimmer. If it is, remove the battery and check for any obstructions or issues with the contacts before reinstalling it. A depleted battery pack is a common reason; ensure it's adequately charged. Finally, the trimmer requires simultaneous depression of the lock-off lever and the trigger to start. Press the lock-off lever, hold it, and then depress the trigger.
