The electronics automatically recognizes an increasing filter pollution and re-adjusts the flowrate to the
v
alue set by you. This guarantees constant flowrate values over a long period until a pollution degree is
reached which can no longer be compensated by the electronics.
Flowrate incrementally adjustable
(factory settings: 2074 = 585 l/h – 2076 = 650 l/h – 2078 = 700 l/h)
The electronically controlled alternating stream assures near-natural stream conditions in the aquarium.
Electronic alternation between two settable flowrates in a 12-hour rhythm.
Upon pushing the button, the device shows the remaining period to the next cleaning.

The system detects trapped air beneath the filter head and automatically bleeds the air off via an electronic
program.
The system constantly monitors itself, recognizes irregularities and indicates them in the form of warning
signals. At the same time, a program automatically attempts to rectify the respective causes.
To guarantee maximum control accuracy, the system permanently checks and at least once a day calibrates
itself. For this procedure, the pump delivers a pre-set (high) flowrate and indicates this via a green sequen-
tially illuminated light.
The MANUAL MODE function is used to deactivate automatic readjustments and the service function.
The RESET FUNCTION is used to reset all the functions to the factory settings.
OPTIONAL: With the USB converter the EHEIM professionel 4e+ external filter can be connected to a com-
puter via a USB interface. The functions can be conveniently controlled and monitored using the EHEIM
