can impair the eff ect of the safety devices and
therefore increase the potential danger for the
user.
i) Check the rating plate and markings on the
equipment regularly for legibility. If there is
any damage, contact our Service Center.
j) If the mounted tool, an accessory part or the
compressed air tool breaks, pieces may be

k) During and after use, avoid direct contact with
the plug-in tool.
l) Compressed air can cause serious injuries.

Special safety information
•
Always disconnect the compressed air supply
before carrying out any work on the equip-
ment (cleaning the equipment, changing
tools, etc.).
•
Keep your workplace clean and well illumi-
nated.
•
Make sure that the workpiece is sufficiently
secured so that it cannot slip.
•
Keep children away.
•
For your own sake, keep the equipment clean
at all times and check it for signs of damage
each time after using it.
•
Make sure that the switch is set to OFF before
you connect up the tool.
•
Take care to maintain a steady foothold. Ne-
ver use the tool on ladders and scaffolds.
•
Use only the sanding/grinding tools specified
by the manufacturer.
•
Do not remove the earthing contact device.
•
Never leave the equipment unattended when
loaded.
•
Never use the equipment without staples/
nails.
•
Whilst working with the stapler, hold it in such
a way that your head and body cannot be
injured in case of kickback caused by disrup-
tion of the power supply or by hard areas of
the workpiece.
•
Never point an operational stapler directly at
yourself or at any other person.
•
Never trigger the stapler into the open air.
•
When the staple is in an operational readi-
ness state, only ever carry it by the handle
and never carry it with with the trigger acti-
vated.
•
Make allowance for the workplace conditions.
Staples can potentially go straight through
thin workpieces or they can slide off workpi-
eces when working on corners and edges,
thus putting persons at risk.
•
Only use nails/staples which are intended to
be used with this equipment and which com-
ply with the requirements and characteristic
data specified in these operating instructions.
•
For you own personal safety, always use
suitable protective equipment such as, for
example, hearing and eye protection.
This equipment is not suitable for the following
work:
•
If changing from one stapling point to another
involves moving about on platforms, steps,
ladders or any other structures similar to lad-
ders such as, e.g. roof battens.
•
Sealing of boxes or crates.
•
Fitting of transportation braces, e.g. to vehic-
les and wagons.
Keep this safety information in a safe place.
