8.2 Condensed water (Fig. 1)
Important! To ensure a long service life of the
pressure vessel (2), drain o the condensed wa-
ter by opening the drainage cock (11) each time
after using.
Check the pressure vessel for signs of rust and
damage each time before using. Do not use the
compressor with a damaged or rusty pressure
vessel. If you discover any damage, please con-
tact the customer service workshop.
8.3 Safety valve (10)
The safety valve is set to the maximum permissib-
le pressure of the pressure vessel. It is not permit-
ted to adjust the safety valve or remove its seal.
It should be pressed from time to time to check
the function. To check the safety valve, carefully
unscrew the screw cap while the boiler is pres-
surized. When opening the cap, air will escape at
the valve. After you have opened the screw cap,
screw it back on completely.
8.4 Cleaning the intake lter (1)
The intake lter prevents dust and dirt from being
sucked in. It is necessary to clean this lter at
least every 300 hours of operation. A clogged in-
take lter signi cantly a ects the performance of
the compressor. First remove the cover by sliding
it up, then open the lter half (Fig. 7, 7a). Then
blow out all parts of the lter with compressed air
at low pressure (approx. 3 bar) and assemble the
lter in reverse order.
When cleaning, take adequate precautions
against dust (e.g. use a suitable face mask).
