• Sudscancausethedishwashertooverflow.Measurethedetergent
carefullyanduseonlydetergentsdesignedfor use ina dishwasher.
Lessdetergentisneededinsoftwater.Tryanotherbrandof detergent
ifsudsingcontinues.(pg.15)
• Followdirectionscloselyonhowto adda forgottenitem(pg.9).
• Toavoidrinseaidleakingfromthedispenser,be surethe lidis
securelyattached.
•All activedisplayindicatorsflash if thedoorisopenedduringa running
cycleor delay.
• Thecurrentlyselectedcycleflashesifan attemptismadeto change
thecycleaftercycle"lock-in".
• Thelockedindicatorflashesif a padispressedwhilethechildlockis
enabled.(pg.20)
• SelectHi Tempoption.
• Checkwatertemperature.Incomingwatershouldbe 120° F(49° C).
•Alwaysusea rinseaid.
• Confirmthatthe cloudinessisremovableby soakingthe iteminwhite
vinegarforapproximately5 minutes.If removed,the problemis due
tohardwater.Adjustdetergentamountbeingusedto matchwater
hardness(pg.15).Besuredetergentisfresh,storedproperlyandis a
highqualitybrand.
• If cloudinessis not removable,itisetching.Thisisanerosionof the
surfaceofthe glasswareandcan becausedbywaterthatis too
hot,fromusingtoomuchdetergentor byprewashing.Detergent
needsfood soilto act upon.Ifetchinghasoccurred,theglassware
ispermanentlydamaged.Topreventfurtheretching,adjustthe
detergentamountto matchthewaterhardness,stop prewashing,and
usewaterheatingoptionsonlywhenincomingwatertemperatureis
below120° F(49° C).
