Beginning with the following table, this information includes common problems, causes, and suggested solutions.

Ensurethat valve is not a self-piercing valve.Clean
valve.Replacevalveif necessary.
• If not, the ice & water filter cartridge isclogged or
restricted, and must be replaced.
• Push firmly until the water filter snaps into place(you
should heartwo (2) clicks).
Ice makershould produceapproximately9 poundsof
ice every24 hours.

operate.

should operate.
• EnsureFreshFood door is closed. (SeeProblem
Section, Opening/Closingof Doors/Drawers)
,, Motor is overloaded.Motor overload protector will reset
in approximatelythree (3) minutes. Ice canthen be
dispensed.
• Remove ice bin,thaw, and empty the contents. Clean
bin,wipe dry, and replacein proper position. When new
ice is made,dispenser should operate.
,, Usethe dispenseroften so that cubes do not freeze
together.
The ice & water filter cartridge could beclogged.
Replacethefilter cartridge. Dispensingsystem operates
bestat 30-1go psi water pressure.Well water pressures
should fall within this range.
