BEFORE FIRST USE
Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials.
Wipe the appliance with a slightly damp cloth. Dry thoroughly.
It is recommended to wash the drip coee system before rst use.
Fill the water tank with cold water and follow the directions for brewing coee to make at least two
carafes of coee without using ground coee.
Switch o the coee maker and allow it to cool before relling with cold water.
SETTING THE CLOCK
1. Place the appliance on dry, horizontal and heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
2. Plug in the appliance.
The display will show 12:00. Appliance is in Standby mode.
3. Appliance is in Standby mode now. Touch .
The display will show the text “CLOCK”.
4. While “CLOCK” is displayed, repeatedly touch H and M respectively to set the current time or you
can press the key and hold until the desired time is displayed on screen, then release it.
BREWING COFFEE
1. Place the appliance on dry, level and heat-resistant surface, away from any edge.
2. Open the top cover.
3. Fill the water tank with the required amount of fresh, cold water using the water level indicator
as a guide.
The markings on the water tank window indicate level of water required to brew the
desired number of cups.
To avoid overow, do not ll the water tank with water past the max line.
4. Place the lter into the funnel, making sure it is assembled correctly.
5. Add the desired ground coee in the lter with the supplied spoon.
A level spoon of ground coee can make a cup of coee.
6. Close the top cover until a click is heard.
7. Slide the carafe into the appliance ensuring it sits correctly on the plate.
Before placing the carafe on the plate, make sure the carafe lid is closed.
8. Plug in the appliance.
9. Touch .
The orange indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the appliance is brewing coee.
10. The coee will begin to ow from the funnel after a short time.
It is normal for the appliance to emit steam while it is brewing coee.
During brewing, you can remove the carafe from the keep-warm plate. The brewing
process does not stop during this period and only the ow of coee from the funnel stops.
Do not remove the carafe for longer than 30 seconds or the coee may overow from the
edge of the funnel.
The brewing process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the button twice.
Appliance is in Standby mode. The orange indicator light will go out.
