It is intended for persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, only if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning its safe use. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance and should not carry out cleaning or user maintenance without supervision. The appliance is designed to be installed and connected to a grounding connection in the building, and it is crucial to ensure that the parameters on the rating plate are compatible with the electrical ratings of the mains power supply. The operating water pressure must be between 0.5 (0.05) / 10 (1.0) bar (MPa), and it can accommodate a maximum of 13 place settings. Knives and other sharp utensils must be loaded with their points down or placed horizontally in the basket.

The appliance features a control panel with an On/Off/Reset button, Delay Start button, a display, a MY TIME selection bar, EXTRAS buttons, and an AUTO Sense program button. The display includes an ECOMETER, which indicates the energy and water consumption of the selected program, with more bars signifying lower consumption. An "ECO" indicator highlights the most environmentally friendly program for normally soiled loads. The AUTO Sense program automatically adjusts the wash cycle based on the degree of soil and load amount, optimizing temperature, water quantity, and wash duration. EXTRAS options, such as ExtraPower (improves results by increasing wash temperature and duration) and GlassCare (prevents damage to delicate items by reducing wash temperature to 45 °C), can be activated to customize programs.

Before first use, it is essential to adjust the water softener level according to local water hardness, fill the salt container, and fill the rinse aid dispenser. The water softener removes minerals from the water supply, preventing negative effects on washing results and the appliance. The rinse aid helps dry dishes without streaks or stains and is automatically released during the final rinse. The appliance also features an End Sound, an acoustic signal that sounds when the program is completed or a malfunction occurs. The AirDry function improves drying results by automatically opening the appliance door during the drying phase.

Daily use involves opening the water tap, activating the appliance, filling the salt container and rinse aid dispenser if empty, loading the baskets, adding detergent, and selecting and starting a program. Detergent, whether powder or tablets, is placed in a dedicated compartment, with a small quantity for prewash phases placed on the inner part of the door. The water softener level should be correctly set to prevent issues like hard-water filming or rust on cutlery. If using multi-tablets, specific steps are provided for transitioning back to separate detergent, salt, and rinse aid.

Maintenance features include the Machine Care program, designed to clean the appliance interior, removing limescale and grease buildup. The Machine Care indicator illuminates when cleaning is needed. Before starting this program, filters and spray arms should be cleaned. Internal cleaning involves wiping the interior with a damp cloth, avoiding abrasive products, and cleaning the door and rubber gasket weekly. External cleaning requires a moist soft cloth and neutral detergents. The filter system, consisting of three parts, should be regularly cleaned by removing and washing each component. The lower spray arm should also be cleaned regularly to prevent clogging, which can lead to unsatisfactory washing results. The upper spray arm openings can be cleaned with a thin pointed object if clogged.
