Turning the oven on

Selecting a temperature
The temperature in your appliance is electronically
controlled.
âąî„ î„Theî„temperatureî„canî„beî„selectedî„withinî„theî„rangeî„ofî„
30°Cî„toî„250°Cî„andî„canî„beî„adjustedî„atî„anyî„time.î„Toî„
setî„theî„temperature,î„pressî„theî„temperatureî„â âî„andî„
temperatureî„â âî„buttonsî„toî„reachî„theî„desiredî„setting.
âąî„ î„Ifî„noî„furtherî„changesî„areî„madeî„withinî„8î„secondsî„theî„
oven begins to heat. The heating indicators above the
temperature selector will come on and start to rise
slowly, indicating the degree to which the oven
is currently being heated.
âąî„ î„Whenî„theî„temperatureî„isî„reached,î„theî„indicatorî„barsî„areî„
fullyî„lit,î„theî„heatî„sourceî„switchesî„itselfî„offî„andî„theî„buzzerî„

below the desired setting, the heating source switches
back on.
Pre-heatingî„yourî„ovenî„isî„recommendedî„inî„severalî„cookingî„
andî„grillingî„functions.î„Pre-heatingî„yourî„applianceî„allowsî„itî„
to reach the required temperature quickly and efïŹciently as
well as cook your food at the correct temperature for the
entire cook time.
The programmable controller models are equipped with
aî„built-inî„rapidî„heat-upî„thatî„activatesî„eachî„timeî„youî„startî„
anî„ovenî„function.î„Duringî„theî„rapidî„heat-upî„phaseî„theî„heatî„
comes from the element surrounding the fan as well as
the smaller element above the food. This combination will
heat up your oven 30% quicker than it would on standard
âBakeâ.î„Theî„ovenî„willî„automaticallyî„revertî„toî„theî„setî„cookingî„
function once the preset temperature is reached.
Turning the oven off
Single cavity models:
1. Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the oven.
Dual cavity models:
1.î„ î„Pressî„theî„upper/lowerî„ovenî„selectorî„buttonî„toî„toggleî„toî„
the desired oven.
2. Press the ON/OFF button to switch off the desired oven.
The LCD control panel will come off to conïŹrm that the
oven is now switched off.
3.î„ î„Ifî„theî„otherî„ovenî„isî„stillî„active,î„afterî„1î„second,î„theî„LCDî„
control panel will automatically revert to show the setting
of that oven.
4. To turn off both ovens at once, press and hold the
On/Offî„buttonî„forî„1î„second.î„Allî„elements,î„cavityî„lightî„
and the LCD control panel will then switch off at the
same time.
Your oven is equipped with a programmable controller that
can be used to turn on and off the oven automatically.
The cook time is used to automatically turn the oven off
after a set amount of time.

1. Select the desired oven function and cooking

Cooking with the timer â

Whenî„theî„cookî„timeî„hasî„elapsed,î„anî„audibleî„signalî„
will sound for 10 seconds, the oven will switch off and
COOKINGî„FINISHEDî„willî„beî„displayedî„onî„theî„leftî„handî„sideî„
of the display. On the right hand side of the display, the
remainingî„timeî„indicationî„â0î„minâî„willî„appearî„togetherî„withî„
the cooking start and stop time.
âąî„ î„Toî„stopî„theî„audibleî„signal,î„pressî„anyî„ofî„theî„buttonsî„onî„
the control panel.
âąî„ î„Ifî„youî„wishî„toî„cookî„aî„bitî„longer,î„pressî„theî„âcookî„timeî„ â
button for each additional minute you require. The oven
automatically reverts to the function and temperature
previouslyî„programmed.î„Thisî„featureî„isî„availableî„forî„5î„
minutesî„afterî„cookingî„hasî„îŹnished.î„Afterî„that,î„theî„ovenî„
automatically switches off.
Even though the heating element turns off the oven will still
retain substantial heat. This will continue to cook the food
untilî„itî„isî„removedî„orî„theî„ovenî„coolsî„down.î„Ifî„youî„doî„notî„
plan on being present when the oven turns off, you should
take this extra heating time into account.
Setting the timer
The timer can be used independently of the oven for setting
aî„countdownî„period.î„Whenî„theî„periodî„ofî„timeî„hasî„elapsed,î„
an audible signal sounds.
1. Press the timer button.
2. Set the desired length of time using the or buttons
whilstî„theî„timerî„bellî„isî„îashing.î„Afterî„8î„secondsî„fromî„theî„
lastî„adjustmentî„theî„timerî„bellî„willî„stopî„îashingî„andî„theî„
timer will start to count down.
3.î„ î„Whenî„theî„setî„timeî„hasî„elapsed,î„anî„audibleî„signalî„willî„
soundî„forî„10î„seconds.î„Theî„timeî„indicationî„â0î„minâî„andî„
theî„timerî„bellî„willî„îashî„onî„theî„display.
4. To stop the signal, press any of the 3 buttons below the
Clock/Timerî„display.î„
