Why Electrolux EWT606 Washer has washed load but will not spin?
    • D
      Debra FloresAug 25, 2025
If your Electrolux Washer has washed a load but will not spin, with water remaining in the washbowl, the spin speed might be set to DRIP DRY (open lid, remove clothes, then close lid). Other potential issues include an unevenly distributed load (open lid, redistribute load and close lid), the machine not being level (ensure machine is level), a blocked outlet or kinks in the hose (check outlet and hose), excessive detergent use (wait minutes, use less detergent in the future, and use only low sudsing, front load washer detergent), or the lid not being properly closed (make sure lid is closed).

Why are clothes still dirty after Electrolux Washer wash program?
    • D
      Diana PetersSep 16, 2025
If your clothes are still dirty after running a wash program in your Electrolux Washer, it could be due to not using enough or any detergent (check detergent use and rewash clothes), overloading the machine (remove some clothes and rewash), or incorrect selections for Program, Dirt Level, or water temperature (reselect settings). It may also be caused by selecting an incorrect water level (use auto sensing water level and rewash clothes).

What to do if Electrolux Washer goes out of balance?
    • K
      Karen BlankenshipSep 14, 2025
If your Electrolux Washer goes out of balance or vibrates excessively when spinning, it might be due to the machine not being level (make the machine level), the leveling feet not being adjusted (adjust feet to touch floor), clothes may need to be redistributed evenly, or you may need to use Auto water level or a lower manual water level.

What causes scraping noise on spin in Electrolux EWT606?
    • P
      padillaamberSep 12, 2025
If you hear a scraping noise during the spin cycle of your Electrolux Washer, it could be due to a bra wire or another thin item caught between the inner and outer washbowls. If the item is visible, remove it with pliers. Use a wash bag in the future to prevent this.

Why are clothes still wet or sudsy after wash program in my Electrolux EWT606?
    • S
      Stephen DavisSep 12, 2025
If clothes are still wet or sudsy after the wash program in your Electrolux Washer, it may be due to poor rinsing and spin caused by excessive suds. In the future, use less detergent and ONLY use a low sudsing, front load washer detergent in this machine, such as Cold Power for Front Loaders and High Efficiency Top Loaders or detergent labeled “Matic.”

What to do if Electrolux Washer lid will not open?
    • K
      Kevin ChurchSep 5, 2025
If the lid of your Electrolux Washer will not open, consider the following: * The machine may be at a spin stage, and the ‘Lid Locked’ light is ON. If you need to access the bowl, wait until the stage is complete and the light is OFF, then you can open the lid. * The machine may be at the end of the wash cycle, finishing the final spin & the lid lock release stage. Wait a short while until the ‘Lid Locked’ light is OFF. * The lid may be stuck in the locked position. If the ‘Lid Locked’ light is OFF, press Power to turn off the machine, then press Power again. If the lid still will not open you should call Service.
