  • Ambient Temperature Range: The appliance is designed to operate correctly in ambient temperatures ranging from 10°C to 43°C.
  • Freezer Type: Frost-free, meaning there is no build-up of frost on internal walls or food during operation.
  • Energy Efficiency: Information regarding energy efficiency and performance can be found on the rating plate and energy label, with a QR code linking to the EU EPREL database.

Usage Features

  • Control Panel: Located on the front, it includes a power indicator light, a temperature regulator with an On/Off switch, a FastFreeze light, a FastFreeze switch (also serving as an alarm reset), and an alarm light.
  • Switching On/Off: The appliance is switched on by plugging it in and turning the temperature regulator clockwise. To switch off, turn the regulator to the "O" position and remove the plug.
  • Temperature Regulation: The temperature is automatically regulated, but users can adjust it using the temperature regulator. A medium setting is generally recommended. Factors influencing temperature include room temperature, door opening frequency, food quantity, and appliance location.
  • FastFreeze Function: Activated by pressing the FastFreeze button for 2-3 seconds, this function pre-freezes and fast-freezes food. It automatically stops after 52 hours but can be manually deactivated. It's recommended to activate this function at least 24 hours before placing fresh food for freezing.
  • Alarms:
    • High Temperature Alarm: An acoustic alarm sounds and the alarm light blinks if the freezer temperature increases significantly (e.g., due to a power failure). The sound can be switched off by pressing the alarm reset switch.
    • Door Open Alarm: An acoustic alarm sounds if the door is left open for approximately 80 seconds. It stops when the door is closed or by pressing the alarm reset switch.
  • Freezing Fresh Food: Fresh food should be stored evenly in the top compartment or drawer. The maximum freezing capacity within 24 hours is specified on the rating plate.
  • Storage of Frozen Food: Freezer drawers facilitate easy access to food. For large quantities, drawers can be removed, and food placed on shelves, ensuring a 15 mm gap from the door.
  • Thawing: Frozen food can be thawed in the refrigerator or under cold water in a plastic bag. Small items can be cooked directly from frozen.

Maintenance Features

  • Cleaning:
    • The interior and accessories should be cleaned with lukewarm water and neutral soap.
    • Door seals should be regularly checked and wiped clean.
    • Abrasive products, chlorine, or oil-based cleaners should not be used as they can damage the finish.
    • The appliance's accessories and parts are not suitable for dishwasher cleaning.
  • Defrosting: The freezer compartment is frost-free, eliminating the need for manual defrosting.
  • Cleaning Air Channels: The plinth and ventilation grid can be removed for cleaning. The air deflector can also be pulled out to clean the lower part of the appliance with a vacuum cleaner.
  • Period of Non-Operation: If the appliance is not in use for a long time, it should be disconnected from the power supply, emptied of food, cleaned, and the door left open to prevent unpleasant smells.
  • Service and Repair: For repairs, contact an Authorised Service Centre and use original spare parts. Self-repair or non-professional repair may void the guarantee.
  • Disposal: The appliance should be disconnected from the mains, the cable cut, and the door removed to prevent children or pets from being trapped. It contains flammable gas in the insulation foam and refrigerant circuit, requiring proper disposal through municipal authorities.
  • Door Reversibility: Instructions for reversing the door are provided in a separate document. Care must be taken to protect the floor during this process.
