6.7Cleaningthemopelements

Atregularbasis,checkthemopelementsandcleanifnecessary.
Intheinnerdrum,thereisoneortwocorecoverstotheheatingelementsdependingonthesize
ofthemachine.Thefrontcoverislocateddirectlyabovethedrainandtheotherisinfrontofthe
elementretainer.Twosmallscrewdriversarerequiredtoremovethecorecover.
Useascrewdrivertopressdownontheretainingplateintheroundholeonthecorecover.
Placetheotherscrewdriverintheovalholeonthecorecoverandthroughtheroundholeinthe
retainingplate.
Pushtheretainingplatetowardsthescrewdriverwhichispressingdownontheretainingplate.

Removethecoreelement/elementsandcleantheelements.Iftheelementsareverydirty,itmaybe
wisetoremovetheelementsfromthedrumwhencleaningthem
Thecorecoversarerettedinreverseorder,withthedifferencethatitisnotnecessarytopresson
theretainingplate;youonlyneedtopushtheretainingplatebackintoplace.Whenyouheara
clickingsound,theretainingplateisinposition.
