valve is located between the water filter and the
water tank. This should be turned off to stop water
from flowing out of the tank when the filter screen
is removed for daily cleaning. The filter should be
changed only if it has been damaged.
A mechanical water level gauge (Figure SP-7) is
visible through the right windshield.
The flow of water is controlled through switches
and a valve at the control console in the cab, as
detailed in the Operation section of this manual.
BROOM ADJUSTMENT
Broom sweeping patterns are a guideline of sweep-
ing performance. Patterns should be checked daily
according to the procedure in Operation section of
this manual. If the patterns do not conform to those
shown in the Operation section, correct the pat-
terns by using the following procedures, as needed.
