Each cartridge model having a different tracking weight, you should set this accordingly. You
will need a mechanical scale (included) or a digital scale (accessory in option).
1- Place the scale on the turntable’s plate.
2- Remove the cover of the cartridge.
3- Gently put the cartridge on the center of the scale (digital scale) or on a desired tracking
weight value (mechanical scale).
4- Adjust the counterweight to the optimal tracking weight (digital scale) or perfect equilibrium
(mechanical scale).
For Ortofon OM5, OM10 et 2M Red cartridge :
- Recommanded tracking weight between 1,5 g and 2.0 g**
- Optimal tracking weight : 1,75g*
