Overview

The Elite Gourmet 25L Air Fryer Oven (Model: EAF9100) is a versatile kitchen appliance designed for healthier cooking without the addition of oil. It combines multiple cooking functions, including air frying, baking, broiling, roasting, and toasting, making it suitable for a wide array of meals and snacks. The appliance features a 25-liter capacity and is equipped with easy-to-use digital quick menu, temperature, and timer controls. Its unique vapor system, combined with circulating hot air, aims to make foods crispier and cook faster, saving time and energy compared to conventional deep fryers.

Function Description:

The Air Fryer Oven offers several cooking functions, each controlled by a dedicated Function Knob.

  • Air Fry: This function utilizes four upper heating elements and a high-speed fan to circulate hot air, ideal for achieving crispy results similar to deep frying but with little to no oil. The Air Fryer Temperature Knob is specifically used to set the temperature for this function.
  • Broil + Convection: This mode combines two upper heating elements with convection, suitable for broiling with enhanced heat distribution.
  • Broil: This function uses two upper heating elements for direct top-down heat, typically used for browning or cooking thinner cuts of meat.
  • Toast + Convection: This setting engages two upper heating elements and two lower heating elements with convection for even toasting.
  • Bake + Convection: This function uses two lower heating elements with convection for baking with improved heat circulation.
  • Bake: This mode utilizes two lower heating elements for traditional baking.

For functions other than air frying, the Oven Temperature Knob is used to set the desired temperature for broiling, baking, toasting, and warming. The Timer Knob allows users to set cooking times up to 120 minutes, with an audible ring signaling the completion of the cycle. An Interior Light Switch enables users to turn on the oven light to check cooking progress without opening the door.

Usage Features:

Before first use, all packaging materials should be removed, and accessories washed with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. The main housing should not be immersed in water but wiped clean with a damp cloth. The appliance should be placed on a flat, horizontal, heat-resistant surface, at least 4 inches away from walls and other objects. Objects should not be stored on top of the oven, and the exterior walls can become very hot during use.

When operating, the Power Indicator illuminates to show the unit is active. Both time and temperature can be adjusted at any point during cooking. For air frying, the crumb tray is placed at the bottom, the Function Knob is set to Air Fry, and the Air Fryer Temperature Knob is set to the desired temperature. The Timer Knob is then turned to initiate cooking. For broiling, baking, and toasting, the crumb tray is also placed at the bottom, the oven door closed, and the Function Knob set to the appropriate mode. The Oven Temperature Knob is used to set the temperature, and the Timer Knob is turned to begin. To manually stop any cooking function, the Timer Knob can be turned to the "Off" position.

The appliance includes several accessories to facilitate different cooking tasks:

  • Slide-Out Crumb Tray: This removable tray slides out from the bottom front for easy cleaning and must always be in place when the oven is in use.
  • Wire Rack: Used for various cooking needs.
  • Baking Pan/Drip Tray: Can be used alone for baking or roasting and placed in any of the three rack positions. A little oil or butter is recommended to prevent food from sticking.
  • Air Fryer Basket: Designed with a grated surface to allow air circulation for even cooking during air frying. It should typically be placed in the middle rack position unless a recipe specifies otherwise. The basket must always be placed on the pan or rack, never directly on the crumb tray.

When cooking is complete, the timer will ring, and heating will stop. Users should carefully open the glass door, being mindful of steam, and check if food is ready. The air fryer basket, rack, or pan will be extremely hot after cooking, so the door handle or oven mitts should be used. For subsequent batches, the air fryer oven is instantly ready for use.

Maintenance Features:

Thorough cleaning of the Air Fryer Oven is recommended after every use. Before cleaning, ensure the power cord is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the appliance has cooled down. Abrasive cleaners should not be used as they can damage the finish. The exterior can be wiped with a clean, damp cloth and dried thoroughly. For interior walls, a damp cloth with a mild liquid soap solution or a spray solution on a sponge is recommended. Harsh abrasives, corrosive products, or steel wool pads should be avoided as they can damage the oven surface.

The Oven Rack, Baking Pan, Air Fryer Basket, and Crumb Tray should be hand-washed in hot, sudsy water using a nylon scouring pad or brush. These accessories are not dishwasher safe. Regular cleaning of the top interior of the oven, especially after cooking greasy foods, helps maintain performance and consistent toasting results. To remove crumbs, the Crumb Tray can be slid out, emptied, wiped clean, and replaced. For baked-on grease, the tray can be soaked in hot, sudsy water or cleaned with nonabrasive cleaners. The oven should never be operated without the Crumb Tray in place. Any other servicing required should be performed by an authorized service representative.
