For the MMA process (manual welding with coated electrode or SMAW) 5 parameterization menus are available:
current , base material thickness , electrode diameter , Hot Start and Arc Force .
To adjust the current press the knob until the icon
has the white arrow below it.
To adjust the thickness of the material, press the knob
until the icon has the white arrow below it.
Then turn the knob to adjust the current.
Turn the knob to adjust the thickness of the material to be
welded and push the knob to save. When setting the
thickness of the base material, the equipment will
automatically adjust the recommended output current for
that thickness.
