To ensure your Elite Pool Cleaner’s
optimum performance, we have included
an Elite Pool Cleaner Weir Valve. This
valve will immediately give you the state
of your filter system. Should your filter
require backwashing, this will be clearly
visible by observing the position of the
flow indicator.
Installing the Valve
The valve should be fitted to the inlet
/suction in your pool weir/skimmer box.
This should be a tight fit, a weir adapter
can be used if necessary
Turn off the pump
Disconnect the control valve with the
hoses attached from the weir box
Ensure the basket contains no
debris
Backwash the filter with the control
valve disconnected NB when
backwashing always disconnect the
control valve from the weir
Install the valve in the weir ensuring
the Flow Equalizer is in the closed
position
Turn on the filtration system
Attach the Elite Pool Cleaner to the
correct length of hoses (refer to
page 2) taking care to purge the air
out of the hoses
Connect the control valve to the weir
If the suction is too high or the flow
indicator (flap) is below the optimum
window open the Flow Equalizer
slightly until the flap operates
between low and high
If the suction is too weak or the
flow indicator (flap) is above the
optimum window engage the third
spring on the weir valve as shown in
