  If your Elite Swimming Pool Vacuum isn't moving while the pump is running, try these steps: 1. Make sure the hose is connected at the weir. 2. Check the hammer/flapper chamber for obstructions. Remove any you find, and rinse the chamber and hammer/flapper in pool water before refitting. 3. Ensure all hoses are properly connected. Listen for hissing sounds at connections; if present, push the connections together firmly. 4. Remove any air from the hose. 5. Check for damage to the hose sections or obstacles within them. 6. Empty the leaf basket and backwash the filter. 7. Confirm the disc/skirt rotates freely and is correctly fitted between the footpad and side intakes with the fins facing upward and the word “top” visible.

Adjust the bump strip or deflector assembly to help the cleaner navigate around obstacles. 3. Reduce suction by slowly opening the flow equalizer. 4. Adjust the return nozzle to direct the cleaner away from the obstruction. Point the nozzle towards the hose and upwards to create ripples on the water surface. If the cleaner is not cleaning parts of the shallow end, aim the flow downwards to reduce surface ripples.

If the curve between the floor and wall is too tight, the cleaner might not be able to climb. 3. A Poolmaid Square Pool Attachment can be connected to solve this problem or if the angle is too steep (90 Degrees) an Xplorer Turbine cleaner may be purchased as an option.
