ture is maintained between 23:00 and
06:00. Program 0 is the frost protec-
tion program. Here, the entire day and
night the frost protection temperature is
maintained.
4.4 Modifying programs
• To modify a program, follow the steps
below:
• Press“prog”(9)
• Thenrepeatedlypress“prog”(9)
until you are on the day of the week
for which you want to choose the
program(modicationisonlypossible
ofprogram10thru19).
• Runthroughtheprogramprole
(21) of that day of the week (starting
at 00: 00 hours) in order to modify
the program. If you want comfort
temperature on a block of time,
press
(3). If you want economic
temperature on a block of time, press
(4). After the choice between
comfort and economic temperature
you automatically continue to the next
blockoftime.Onceyouaresatised
withtheprogramproleoftheday,
exit with “ok” (14).
4.5 Temporarily deviating from a
program
You can deviate from a program by
selecting the opposite mode. For exam-
ple: The program has set the thermo-
stat to economic temperature. But you
temporarily want a higher temperature.
Press
(3). The thermostat temporar-
ily switches to comfort temperature. The
thermostat returns to the programmed
setting by pressing “ok” (14), or when a
new hour begins.
To deviate from a program for more than
an hour, press and hold
(3) for 2 sec-
onds. Press again to change the time
of the deviation. Up to 24 hours may be
deviated from the program. The thermo-
stat then automatically switches back in
the programmed temperature. To devi-
ate from the comfort temperature follow
the same actions, but instead press
.
4.6 Other settings
The function “CL/HT”
The thermostat can be connected to
a heating system or a cooling system.
The thermostat should be set on “HT”
for a heating system and on “CL” for a
cooling system. If necessary, adjust the
setting by pressing “mode” (15). Then
press “CL/HT” (13) until the desired
mode appears. Exit with “ok” (14).
The function “DLY”
The thermostat optionally can start your
heating system delayed (for a cooling
system, this is set by default). The ther-
mostat only starts your system after it
has been switched off for 5 minutes.
Presson“mode”(15)rsttoenable
the delay. Then press “DLY” (12) until
“DLY” appears on the display and exit
with “ok” (14). To turn off the delay, fol-
low the same procedure but make
sure that “DLY” is not shown in the dis-
play.
The function “1C/2C”
You can set the permissible temperature
uctuationor“span”.Thespandeter-
mines how much the ambient tempera-
ture may increase or decrease before
the thermostat responds. For example:
with a span of 1°C and a comfort tem-
perature set to 20°C, the temperature
maydecreasetoamaximumof19.5°C
(for a heating system) or increase to
20.5°C (for a cooling system) before the
thermostat responds. To set the span,
rstpress“mode”(15)andthenpress
“1C/2C” (11) until you see the desired
span in the display. Exit with “ok” (14).
