3.4.3 Using the boost function 3.4.4 Keeping warm
Activate the boost
function
Touch to select the desired heating
zone.
When you touch the boost control ,
the zone indicator shows “b” and the
power is set to Max.
Cancel the boost
function
Touch to select the heating zone for
which you wish to cancel the boost
function.
a: Touch the boost control “
” to reset
the cooking zone to its original setting.
OR
b: Touch the slider control to adjust
the cooking zone to the level you
select.
Note:
• This feature works on all cooking zones
• The cooking zone returns to its original setting after
5 minutes.
• Whentheboostfunctionisactivatedfortherst
cooking zone, the second cooking zone is automati-
cally limited to level 2 or below, and vice versa.
• If the original heat setting was 0, it will return to 9
after 5 minutes.
OR
Activate the keep warm function
Touch to select the desired heating zone.
Touch the keep warm control , the zone
indicator shows “ ”.
Cancel the keep warm function
a) Touch to select the desired heating zone.
b) Touch the slider control, and the cooking
zone will revert
to the level you select.
3.4.5 Flexible area
• Thisareacanbeusedasasinglezoneorastwodi󰀨e-
rent zones, according to your cooking needs.
• Theexibleareaismadeoftwoindependentinductors
that can be controlled separately. When it is used as a
single zone, the part that is not covered by cookware is
automaticallyswitchedo󰀨afteroneminute.
• To ensure the correct detection of pans and even heat
distribution, the cookware should be correctly placed:
 -Atthefrontorrearoftheexiblezonewhenthecook-
ware is smaller than 22 cm
- Anywhere with larger cookware
• Examples of good pan placement and bad pan place-
ment.
As a single large zone
Toactivatetheexibleareaasasingle
large zone, simply press the dedicated
keys.
The power setting works in the same way as any other normal zone.
Ifthepanismovedfromthefronttotherearofthezone(orviceversa),theexible
area automatically detects the new position and maintains the same power.
To add a further pan, press the dedicated keys again, to allow the cookware to be
detected.
As two independent zones
Tousetheexibleareaastwodi󰀨erentzoneswithdi󰀨erentpowersettings,pressthe
dedicated keys.
