Before you begin
Software upgrade
If you bought a software maintenance contract, you are entitled to a software upgrade
that is performed only after the installation, Celerra Startup Assistant (CSA), and
registration have successfully completed.
Site preparation
Complete the site preparation by verifying the following activities before instal lation:
• Network connections
• Power requirements
• Rack space requirements

IP address of storage processor A 128.221.252.200
IP address of storage processor B 128.221.253.201

Default IP addresses
The system components communicate with each other using a private Internet Protocol
(IP) network. By default, this network uses the IP addresses listed in the “ Internal
system addresses .”
If your existing IP network uses addresses on these subnets, you are required to
change the private network addresses of your Celerra Network Server to different
subnets before the installation.
