The Emelson gas water heater is designed for forced exhaust and air-supply combustion, making it a safe and reliable appliance for heating water. It is suitable for various domestic uses such as showering, washing hands, and cleaning clothes. The closed-chamber design ensures that the air required for combustion is drawn entirely from outside, and waste gases are discharged outdoors. This prevents the consumption and pollution of indoor air, eliminating the risk of insufficient oxygen and carbon monoxide poisoning.

The heater features fully automatic ignition controlled by water flow; hot water is dispensed only when the water supply tap is opened. It allows for independent adjustment of water volume and firepower, offering convenient control over water temperature. The appliance is engineered for high efficiency and energy saving, incorporating advanced combustion theory in its burner and heat exchanger design for optimal performance.

• Ignition Process: To ignite, users must turn on the gas valve, press the "on/off" key on the control panel, and set the desired hot water temperature using the Up or Down buttons (ranging from 35°C to 65°C, with a minimum adjusting range of 1°C). Opening the water valve will then initiate the ignition process, indicated by a flame icon on the screen and the display of the hot water temperature.
• Troubleshooting Display: In case of a malfunction, the screen will display a trouble code. Users are advised to close and reopen the water valve or toggle the "on/off" switch. If the issue persists, the gas valve should be closed, power switched off, and the heater restarted after a short period.
• Air Purging: After initial installation or recharging the gas tank, several trial ignitions may be necessary to purge air from the gas pipe.
• Fan Operation: When the water valve is closed, the heater stops working, but the fan continues to blow for several seconds to clear the chamber. If power remains on, the heater will resume operation at the previously set temperature when the water valve is reopened.
• Temperature Monitoring: Users should always observe the temperature on the screen to ensure it is near the setup value before use to prevent scalding.
• Post-Use Procedure: After each use, the gas valve and power should be turned off.
• Prevention of Freezing Water: In environments where the temperature is near or below 0°C, it is crucial to drain residual water from the heater after each use. This involves closing the cold water valve, opening any valve on the hot water circuit, setting the water temperature knob to "low" or the water volume button to "large," and then opening and removing the drain valve until all water is discharged.
• Continuous Use Limitation: To prolong the product's life, it is recommended not to use the water heater for more than 15 minutes continuously. A 5-minute break after 15 minutes of use is advised before restarting.
• Scald Prevention: Avoid direct exposure to hot water immediately when showering; always test the water temperature with your hand first. Be cautious of residual hot water in pipes after using high-temperature settings.
• Gas Leakage Check: Regularly check gas connectors for leaks using soapy water. If bubbles appear, shut off the gas, tighten fittings, and recheck. Never use a match or flame to test for leaks.
• Gas Type Compatibility: Ensure the gas type used matches the heater's design specifications.
• Pipe Maintenance: Regularly check gas pipes and replace them annually to prevent cracking and leakage.
• Unsteady Flame: If the flame becomes unsteady, stop using the heater and contact a qualified service facility for repair.
• Fire Prevention: Never leave the water heater unattended during operation. In case of power or water failure, turn off the gas and water inlet valves. Do not place towels or clothes on top of the heater, store flammable materials nearby, or incline the gas tank.
• Carbon Monoxide Prevention: The forced exhaust system ensures waste gases are discharged outdoors. Abnormal gas pressure can lead to incomplete combustion. Regular cleaning of dust and carbon from the heat exchanger by a qualified person every six months is essential to maintain smooth combustion product discharge. The heater must be installed vertically to prevent the flame from touching the heat exchanger, which can increase monoxide production.

• Annual Cleaning: The water heater should be cleaned annually by a service engineer to remove dust from the flue gas passageway. This involves turning off power and gas, allowing the heater to cool, removing the front cover, cleaning the heat exchanger area with compressed air, and then reassembling.
• No Interference with Sealed Components: It is strictly forbidden to interfere with any sealed components of the heater, as this could lead to fire or explosion.
• Abnormal Conditions Handling: In case of abnormal burning (e.g., flame light-back, flame lift, yellow tip, black smoke), unusual smells, noise, or other emergencies, remain calm, shut off the gas supply valve and power switch, and contact the service facility or gas dealers for repair or adjustment.
• Water Quality: The water from the heater is not suitable for drinking.
