  First, verify the dehumidifier is properly plugged into the outlet. Check the house fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if necessary. The dehumidifier may have reached its set level, or the bucket might be full; in this case, adjust the setting or empty the bucket. Ensure the bucket is correctly positioned. Lastly, after a power failure, there may be a protective time delay of up to 3 minutes before normal operation resumes.

  Several factors can affect the dehumidifying performance. Make sure enough time has passed (at least 24 hours). Check for obstructions like curtains or furniture blocking airflow. Ensure the filter is clean. The humidity control might be set too high; lower it or set the dehumidifier to CO for maximum dehumidification. Also, ensure all doors and windows are closed tightly, and the dehumidifier isn't near a clothes dryer venting into the room. Low room temperature can also reduce moisture removal; this model operates best above 41°F (5°C).
