Once discs 1 and 3 are closed again, the
pressure in pilot line A can increase again and
the main valve closes.

FUNCTIONAL TEST
The double design of the valve permits the functional testing of the both inner and the outer valves
without actuating the main valve in the process. To do so, the respective solenoid is energized
and the corresponding pre-pilot disc is lifted. Therefore the chamber E above the respective
disc is relieved and the disc can open. The system pressure below the disc supports the upward
movement of the disc. The pilot line to the main valve remains closed by the other valve.
