Chamber A System pressure
In normal operation, the solenoid is
de-energized and disc 1 is closed. System
pressure predominates in pilot line A, which
keeps the solenoid valve and the main valve
closed.

Disc 1 Open
Chamber A
Start of the pressure reduction
Once the solenoid is energized, the solenoid
plunger presses onto the bottom side of disc 1
from above and opens the disc. Pilot chamber A
is momentarily relieved.
