2.0 Installing the camera
A few short and simple steps are necessary to connect the camera to your network.
During this chapter, we will explain which steps are needed to start enjoying the
camera.
2.1 Installing the software using the supplied CD-ROM
Before you can view the images of the camera, you need to install the IP-cam utility
using the supplied CD-ROM:
1. Place the supplied CD-ROM in your computer’s CD-ROM or DVD-player.
2. The wizard starts automatically.
3. Choose ‘Software’
4. Use the steps shown on screen to install the software.
5. After installing the software, you need to restart your computer.
6. Once the computer has been restarted, you will notice an icon named‘ IP Camera
Tool’ is added to your desktop.
Note: The software on the supplied CD-ROM is intended to be used for Windows
computers. Macintosh users may download a search utility from www.eminent-
online.com
