Periodic Maintenance
Your ERC-4 requires no periodic maintenance or calibration.
Cleaning your ERC-4
• If necessary, the ERC-4 should be cleaned gently with a soft rag.
• If something sticky gets on the front panel or case of the ERC-4, it should be cleaned with a
mild cleaning solution applied to a soft rag, followed by wiping with a clean rag dampened
with plain water and drying with a soft dry rag or cloth.
Note: DO NOT spray water or cleaning solution directly onto the ERC-4 or into
the vents.
• If something sticky gets on the remote control, it should be cleaned with a mild cleaning
solution applied to a soft rag, followed by wiping with a clean rag dampened with plain water
and drying with a soft dry rag or cloth.
Note: DO NOT submerge the remote control in liquid or spray water or cleaning solution
directly onto it.
• If something sticky or gritty gets on the CD Loader Tray, you may clean the tray gently with a
dampened rag. Be careful to avoid allowing any liquid to enter the mechanism, and be sure to
dry the tray carefully before closing it or inserting a disc.
WARNING: If something sticky or gritty contaminates the inside of the ERC-4, please contact
Emotiva Technical Support for instructions. DO NOT OPEN THE ERC-4 UNLESS INSTRUCTED TO
DO SO. THERE ARE NO USER SERVICEABLE PARTS INSIDE.
