Faradic
The output in faradic mode is a series of 0.5ms pulses at a repetition rate of
50 Hz with zero dc content.
The pulse train is surged in the same way as the sinusoidal output.
Galvanic
Galvanic mode produces a direct current of up to 70mA or 140V in either a
positive, negative or auto-reverse (halfway through the treatment time)
electrical polarity.
Interrupted galvanic
Interrupted galvanic mode produces three standard pulse shapes.
Rectangular pulses are available from 10 µs to 1 s pulse width and
triangular and trapezoidal pulses from 1 ms to 1s. The pulse repetition rate
is from 2 to 30 pulses per minute. Their polarity may be selected as Pos
(+), Neg (-), or autorev (halfway through the treatment time).
