1.0Functioning
TheENERGIEsolarsystemsarethermodynamicsolarsystems.
Thesolarpanellocatedoutsideensuresthecaptureofenergythrough:
o Directanddiffuseradiation
o Exteriorairbynaturalconvection
o Windeffect(usuallypresent)
o Rainwater
The temperature gradient caused by the above factors ensures that the
fluid passes to the
gaseousstateinsidethepanel.
The compressor extracts the cooling fluid (vapour) from the panel by rising its pressure and
temperature,whichisthentransmittedtothewatercircuitthroughaheatexchanger.
Theexchangerisplacedinsidethecabinet(ThermodynamicBlock)providingheattothe
water
ithasinside.
Whenthecoolantreachestheexpansionvalveitisintheliquidphase,andthelossofloaddue
tostrangulationreducesthepressure,whichleavesthefluidreadytoreenterthepanels.
