What to do if Enerpac PUJ-1401B Water Pump fails to maintain pressure?
    • A
      Ashley AlvarezJul 25, 2025
If your Enerpac Water Pump fails to maintain pressure, it could be due to an external hydraulic leak. Check all connections and tighten any that are leaking. Another possibility is an internal hydraulic leak. In this case, replace any damaged hoses or fittings. If the issue continues, have the pump repaired by a qualified hydraulic technician.

How to fix low fluid output on Enerpac Water Pump?
    • S
      Sean JonesJul 31, 2025
Low fluid output in your Enerpac Water Pump can stem from several causes. First, ensure the fluid level is adequate by filling the reservoir to the proper level. Leaks in pump components can also reduce output; test to isolate any leaks and have the pump repaired by a qualified hydraulic technician. Additionally, a malfunctioning bypass valve or fluid intake screens clogged with debris on the piston blocks could be responsible. Inspect the intake screens and flush all components to remove contamination, replacing any damaged parts.

Why does the cylinder on my Enerpac PUJ-1401B advance and retract erratically?
    • P
      Patricia HarrisAug 11, 2025
If the cylinder on your Enerpac Water Pump advances and retracts erratically, it could be due to air in the system. Try removing the air by repeatedly opening and closing the tool until the operation becomes smooth. Another potential cause is an external leak in the system. Inspect all connections and tighten any that are loose. Also, an internal hydraulic leak may be the cause. Replace any damaged hoses and fittings. If the problem persists, have the pump inspected and repaired by a qualified hydraulic technician.

Why won't the cylinder on my Enerpac Water Pump advance or retract?
    • G
      Garrett NelsonAug 18, 2025
If the cylinder on your Enerpac Water Pump is not advancing or retracting, several factors could be the cause. Start by checking the fluid level; if it's low, fill the reservoir to the correct level. Another common issue is a clogged intake screen, which you should clean or replace. Also, make sure the valve is in the correct position; shift it to the pressure position. If these steps don't resolve the problem, the valve may have failed, requiring repair by a qualified hydraulic technician.
