  To address a non-responsive Epic Treadmill, start by confirming the power cord is connected to a surge suppressor, which in turn is plugged into a grounded outlet, adhering to specifications on page 13. Note that GFCI outlets are incompatible. Then, ensure the key is properly inserted into the console. Lastly, check the reset/off circuit breaker near the power cord; if it juts out, wait five minutes before pressing it to reset.

For a belt shifted left, turn the left rear roller bolt clockwise 1/2 turn using a hex key; if shifted right, turn it counterclockwise 1/2 turn. Avoid overtightening. Plug the power cord back in, insert the key, and run the treadmill briefly. Repeat until centered. If the belt slips, tighten both rear roller bolts clockwise 1/4 turn, ensuring you can lift each edge 3-4 inches. Then, plug the unit back in and test.

  If the incline on your Epic Treadmill isn't changing correctly, insert the key and press an Incline button. While it's moving, remove the key, wait a few seconds, and re-insert it. The treadmill should automatically rise to the maximum incline and then return to the minimum, recalibrating the system.
