Why does my Epson Projector power not turn on?
    • M
      mossscottAug 6, 2025
If your Epson Projector isn't powering on, ensure the power cable is correctly connected to the projector. Also, verify that the outlet is receiving power, by checking the circuit breaker. If the problem persists, try reinserting the power cable. If it still doesn't work, there may be a poor contact in the power cable, or the power cable may be defective.

How to fix an Epson EMP-62 remote control that is not working?
    • S
      Samantha GardnerAug 10, 2025
If the Epson Projector remote control isn't working, make sure you're within 6 meters of the projector and facing the remote control light-receiving area, with an operating angle of approximately ±30º horizontally and approximately ±15º vertically. Check for direct sunlight or strong fluorescent light interfering with the remote control light-receiving area. Also, ensure the batteries are correctly inserted or try new batteries. Releasing the button resumes normal operation if any button on the remote control is pressed down for more than 30 seconds, which would cause the remote control to stop sending signals.

      Dennis BerryAug 16, 2025
The orange power light on your Epson Projector indicates that the lamp needs replacing. Replace the lamp with a new one as soon as possible, because using the lamp beyond its replacement period increases the risk of it breaking. The Power indicator status will vary depending on the projector status at the time.

What to do if my Epson Projector shows a red light and overheats?
    • M
      Melanie GregoryAug 21, 2025
If your Epson Projector is showing a red light, it could be due to a high temperature error (overheating). In this case, the lamp will turn off automatically and projection will stop. Wait about 5 minutes, after that the projector will switch to standby mode. Check that the air filter and air exhaust vent are clear, and that the projector is not positioned against a wall. If the air filters are blocked, clean or replace them.

If your Epson Projector displays a red light, there may be a lamp issue. Check that the lamp is not cracked and that the air filter and air intake vent are clear. Remove the lamp and check if it is cracked. Clean the air filter and the air intake vent. If the lamp is not cracked, replace the lamp and turn on the power. If the error still occurs, replace it with a new lamp and turn on the power.
