Image Shape
You can project an evenly rectangular image by placing the projector directly in front of the center of the
screen and keeping it level. If you place the projector at an angle to the screen, or tilted up or down, or off
to the side, you may need to correct the image shape for the best display quality.
For the best quality images, try to adjust the projector's position to achieve the correct image size and
shape before using digital correction methods.
Note: If you are mounting the projector from the ceiling, use the adjustment controls on the mount at the
time of installation.

Correcting Image Shape with H/V-Keystone
You can use the projector's H/V-Keystone setting to correct the shape of an image that is unevenly
rectangular on the sides.
Note: Try adjusting the projector's placement and lens shift before using keystone correction. Digital
image correction reduces the number of pixels in the image.
Note: You can correct images up to 30° left, right, up, or down.
Note: You cannot combine H/V-Keystone correction with other image shape correction methods.
